THE RED POPPY Here's something that might interest China Miéville readers. Revolution SF has recently reprinted a Red Poppy story by Paul Miles, originally published in 1931 in The Daily Worker. For those who don't know the Red Poppy, he was a pulp character created by Arthur Carr to present the notions of Communism in an entertaining way. It ran in The Worker's Supplement between 1927 and 1953. Go on to read The Red Poppy in "Death in Four Colors".
NEW WEBSITE Reader Lavie Tidhar set up a new website dedicated to China at http://www.chinamieville.com/. It's still under construction, but it already features some information on proof copies and first editions that might interest collectors.
