John Clute, editor of the Encyclopedia of Science Fiction, is also an innovative SF novelist in his own right. ELECTION RESULTS Posted Skullday, 8 Tathis, Anno Urbis 2001 by gblack Despite poor turnout, the people have chosen. China Miéville earned a modest 459 votes (1.2%) from his constituency, losing to Labour party Karen Buck. Karen Buck is a Member for Regent's Park and Kensington North since 1997 and got re-elected with 54.6% of the votes. We say: exercise your right to vote, dammit! 
ELECTION NIGHT Posted Chainday, 7 Tathis, Anno Urbis 2001 by gblack China Miéville is running for Parliament, representing the Socialist Alliance and Regent's Park and Kensington North. The Regent's Park and Kensington North constituency includes the famous Notting Hill, as well as some of the liveliest bars and shopping areas of London. In contrast, this area has one of the highest unemployment and crime rates in London. Click to follow the results online.
